When Completing An Internship Is A Learning Experience

When completing an internship, we tend to think that an internship is just another task we need to complete to get closer to graduation. However, an internship is more than just a task that some seniors need to complete. Completing an internship is a learning experience, a pathway to better opportunities, and the opportunity to apply all the knowledge you have learned throughout your undergraduate years. Internships give students the capabilities to understand and learn how the workforce functions. Crittenton Services of Greater Washington has given me some of those opportunities and learning experiences. This essay will be discussing if my site had met my expectations and discussing possible career choices that are directed toward adolescents. This paper will describe my strengths and weaknesses. While including details about some of the different choices I would have made to strengthen my skills and professional growth. My paper will conclude in discussing my dislikes and likes abo ut my supervision and how my supervision has made an impact on my emerging professional life. I thought I would have been in communication with a lot more of the staff who are in more of the direct services field.
